Story written in Italian sonnet style.

There was a lad who never knew dismay
His smile another reason for the sun
And here a heart that beat for everyone
Then came a wind and blew it all away

There rose a boy much stronger than before
Determined that he still could make some change
A ray of hope where light was often strange
Then came a wind and boy he was no more

There came a man such scars upon his face
Which turned to face the only life they knew
To try to help until his life was through
Then came a wind and wiped away his trace

There in a field some children play awhile
They sensed their time together wasn’t long
Then came a wind to try to wreck their song
The lad the boy the man was in their smile
