Humorous poem about a woman who loses many things except the one thing that she would most like to lose.
I lost my gloves.
I lost my purse.
I lost my umbrella,
But that wasn’t the worst.
I lost my glasses.
I lost my hat.
I lost my earings,
But not my fat.
Possessions are lost,
But my fat body remains.
Why couldn’t I lose weight.
What a shame.
What a shame.
I lost my comb.
I lost my brush.
But I couldn’t lose the weight,
So my body’s turned into mush.
