It really is!

What a gloriously wonderful day to be alive
The sun’s so bright the sky again blue
A beautiful day to have to go out
And run my errands before this week it through.

The temperature is also very nice
Only 10 a.m. and it’s already fifty degrees
As I look out the window mostly at pines
I can see that there is also a breeze.

But oh how peaceful and beautiful it looks
Through my windows, looking from inside out
That it’s going to be a perfectly wonderful day
Is how it looks without much doubt.

For I cannot see clouds anywhere
Whereas yesterday there was no blue
Today it’s the most heavenly blue you could imagine
And as I’m looking out, I see Spring coming through too.

And with yesterday’s rain so wonderful and needed
Though continuing to rain throughout the night
I find it really quite amazing
That we have this day so blue and bright.

Now we are finally out on the roads
I see purple crocuses poking up through the ground
Oh what a truly glorious feeling
With the newness of Spring all around.

We’ve stopped now driving-thru at the bank
My window’s up with the sun shining in
The warmth is consuming and wonderful
Even nicer is that it seeps within.

So now we’ll get out errands done
Running around for an hour or two
It looks like this day will stay just fine
As it seems I’ll get the things done that I need to do.

Ok, we’ve stopped again at a convenience store
And I can’t write too well riding in the car
So I’m closing for now hoping your day’s beautiful too
As mine I’m so glad to be living so far.

It’s later now yet still so beautiful
That I think I’ll add a verse or two
Then I will peacefully continue to move on
Doing things that I still need to do.

But we are now back home
All our errands got done
And thankfully we’re still blessed
With such glorious sun.

All things went smooth
As we stopped here and there
And since the day is so nice
We did it without care.

But now we’re back home
With so much still to do
Though I don’t mind too much
As our skies are still blue.

Though we took a moment to sit outside for a while
In the now still, early evening air
Noticing that the temperature is dropping
And I don’t even care.

As as an added blessing
Before I even got through the door
My kittens were there to help me
Scattering groceries all over the floor.

I swear they’re just like little kids
Saying ‘mom what’d you get for me?’
Checking out thoroughly each and every bag
Hoping to find something, maybe I didn’t see.

Then off they went, to play a bit then nap
Knowing dinner’s still a couple hours away
So now I have a couple hours of peace for me now
Ah yes it is a wonderful day.

Thanks for writing this and sharing. It makes me feel like I want to carry around my notebook and write what I see and feel for a day. I hope all your days and nights are wonderful.
