This poem is about an Easter I used to have when I was young.

A youthful Easter
In my youth,
I love celebrating Easter,
With coming downstairs to find my basket full of candy and chocolate.
Having breakfast,
Getting ready for church,
Was part of the morning.
After church,
Coming home,
Doing an Easter egg hunt was the best.
I know that it was great,
For a youthful Easter,
In the morning.
By the evening,
Just having dinner was ok,
Having ham was the boring part,
That could make you yawn,
But nothing compare that Easter morning.
A youthful Easter was in my day,
Now I am older,
Sad and blue,
That I just wish there was something for older people to have.
Oh, Well,
I guess I will wait,
Until I have children on my own.
To celebrate the time of my youth,
To them.
Happy Easter to you all!
