ABLAZE

my heart was ablaze

burning not but emotions 

feelings which i embrace

willingly, didn’t abdicate

rumblings in my heart

is this beauty I saw

scratched my head with paw

then gazed with dart

smile she gave back

though I was taken aback

her heart was ablaze

with excitements on the face

later came the bond

love I thought I found

deceits were shockingly abound

my hopes were fond

alack! Its in the past

my feelings were vast

her heart was ablaze

with interest for another
