A couple of birds that circled around me as I walked down to shops.
”This is a true account of a little miracle that happens to me till this day.
Its funny how the smallest thing can lift your spirits
If we trust God through the tough times in our lives we can also be
acrobats of the air (Isaiah 40:31)
Take in life’s little pleasures… especially nature.
There are some amazing little things that God is longing for us to behold”. KDW
Sometimes on my evening walks I witness something extraordinary…
It doesn’t happen all the time and the uncanny thing is… it happens when I’m at my lowest…
God can do some pretty amazing things…
My walks take me across a gigantic green oval that is often used as a cricket ground.
Sometimes I see unusual birds curiously searching between the blades of grass for food…
Other times I see galahs feasting on the succulent seeds that the green ground provides…
But these are not the things that grab my attention… although they are quite remarkable to behold…
As I make my way across this oval two tiny birds fly aimlessly through the air…
Their small, weightless bodies twist and turn in the wind… sometimes they even circle in front of me… and I smile and look up at the sky…
I wonder… what would it be like to be a bird?
They seem to have no care in the world… but I’m sure they probably do…
God created them for a purpose… not just to be acrobats of the air…
God created us for a purpose… not just to be people that walk aimlessly around not doing anything…
We have all been given gifts… some that we may have not discovered yet…
We are all meant to be here…in this time… in this place… in this world…
We are meant to meet the people we meet…
We are meant to go through the things that we’ve been through…
Life may seem easy for the birds…the acrobats of the air… but we cannot comprehend what they go through each day…
We don’t know how they feel…
For all we know… the times that they take to the air could be times when they want to clear their heads from an exhausting day…
I guess we just have to use our imagination…
God created all of us to soar… but first we must let Him be our wings!
