U is for understanding, something so few people have these days, especially of the darkness and those in it.

N is for no, something I can only tell people when I invoke his name for strength. I’m naturally a pleaser, and often get yelled at or rebuked for “no”.

D is for defiance, something I learned to not be guilty over when I rebuilt my mind and made him a permanent part of it.

E is for enigma, something the darkness never was to me, nor the people who professed love for it… nor him.

R is for reality. I wish he was a part of mine; then maybe that strength which made him leader would put my parents’ actions to halt.

T is for Tiffany. I was always thrilled that his symbol in some way represented me too, so much that I’m having it tattooed on the side of my neck.

A is for admiration. I’ve been an ardent fan since before I could walk straight.

K is for karma, my moniker at times and something I hope works. Maybe all the good I do in this time of torment will make life easier in the end.

E is for exceptional, something he’s always been. According to everyone but my parents (and only then when they’re in bad moods), that’s something we share.

R is for real, something I will always be, no matter what.
