We get one of these every other day or so; it seems like you haven’t really ‘made it’ unless you’ve had a fake internet death rumor circulate about you.  And you just never know if it’s true until you google the thing;  ya have to check, just in case. So when I saw this piece on William Shatner being dead,  I of course had to click and see.  And I was rewarded with something not often online; a surprise.

     But after reading (which I did several times) It occured to me that I still wasn’t sure if there was any basis in fact for this.  So of course I googled, and discovered that while rumors of his demise may have been premature, the Emmy award winning star of Star Trek and Boston Legal is in fact missing.

     The party with a Star Trek theme was apparently real enough, and a discussion did ensue as to who the best Star Trek captain was.  Shatner stormed out, and six days later he has yet to resurface.  Rumors of William Shatner’s whereabouts have abounded on the many Star Trek forums and chat rooms, but nothing resembling a serious lead as of yet.

     No word from the camp of William Shatner as to the validity of William Shatner’s disappearance.
