Adolescents   of  Today

Adolescence

Tis a wonderful experience

For the youth

Believe me

It makes them face the pragmatic truth

For it is the correct stage of knowing

That’s when really one learns

About ones’ own sexual growing

To guide the youth

From picking up trash

We have to be sympathetic not rash

I know so many young and beautiful

Girls and handsome boys

Those with whom some guys

Played with like sexual toys.

At times I wonder why parents

Do leave their teenagers

With their relatives too

But these days relatives

Are the ones one can’t

Really trust

To leave innocent adolescents

If they must

I dare not say

In the lives of these innocent ones

There is no fear

That to adolescents

Make it quite clear.

Teenagers need the comfort

As confidence they lack

Do ensure kid keepers

Will not take advantage

Behind parents’ back

They want to know

More and more for sure

How should they

With their own

Also the opposite sex endures.

Believe you me

Dear parents

Of this world of today

Do your best to guard

Adolescents

From day to day

Do not believe blindly

They will be able to fend

For you will be

The greater losers

Towards the eventual end
