Poem about riding the gondolas through the canals of Venice,an inspiration by looking and such a picture….

What more could I want, than to float the grand canal,

with a bottle of plonk, and a single paddle…

A bag of fruit, a stringed guitar,

take off my boots, let me cruise far…

Above the grey sky, don’t bother me,

as I sit or lie, in a tub built for three…

On dark murky water, through the streets of venice,

to greet her daughters, such beauty such finesse…

Today I sit a king, afloat over my domain,

its a beautiful thing, I shall come back again….end
