A drive in the country.
We drove through lanes of grassy green banks
With primrose and daisy yellows
Daffodils and dandelions in between
And listened as the church bells bellow
Turning a corner we were surrounded
By the glorious bluebell blue
Mixed in with them the yellow and white
Of the Soothing feverfew
We stopped for a break at a garden café
And supped on crumpets and tea
And then slowly made our homeward way
Did my sweet love and me
