This is a fictional poem I created about a boy  name Agapi which

his name means love and affection.Agapi find the girl of his dreams

but she doesn’t feel the same,she want friendship so he choose to move

on with his life cause he realize she doesn’t treat him like a true friend.About puppy love or

crushes whatever you would call it.This poem is inspired from “Forest Gump” when

Forest had feelings for Jenny, Steve Urkel had feelings for Lauren Winslow”Family matters”,

you know the list goes on.Enjoy

So many nights I sit and think about you

wondering if you are ever thinking about me too

It’s probably unrealistic to think that you might be thinking of me as much

Maybe it’s a stupid thought, or maybe my mind filled with junk

All I ever asked from you is that you give me honesty

Be straight forward,even if it’s killing me

Oh so long ago our paths ran into each others online

We became friends then chatted from time to time

After a while I started to feel things in my heart I have never felt before

I started to care about you each day we spoke more

You never said that you liked me

But sometimes I felt you liked me

Would you even care if I disappeared into nothing?

The entire time that we got to know each other,did you feel something

I know that you have your life there just as I have my life here

I wanted to make you happy, wanted to keep you near

As our lives keep us busy with our daily responsibilities

I ask God to watch over you and rid all negativity

But as days pass  my heart begins to change

I realize we cannot be friends, we cannot ever hang

Sometimes I check my email just to see if I hear from you,I’m honest

I know I’m only for the moment but you text you promise

Promised that you and I would see each other

But it was a lie and I just feel much dumber

I tried,God knows I tried

Know more would I have these emotions inside

Know more would I be there when you need me

Cause in this friendship I put in so much energy

I’m not Forest or any character clone Steve Urkels

But I would care for you even if meaning I was in trouble

And maybe you no different from Laura or Jenny

Your pretty and friendly

Yet those traits can hide what you really are

You the same as the tv women stars

You call me your pal but make time for me when you need it

Well just like tv, I’m gonna be like Michael and say beat it

Real truth you don’t do anything as a friend suppose to

You give me attitude when I just wanna know you

Or just know about your day

Burger King is close no more having it your way

I’m done with this so call friendship stick a fork in me

I’m over cooked and you are history

We don’t communicate, only about things in your life

Friends do whatever for friends, you know sacrifice

You say we are friends

But we must end

Cause I know it can’t be

Only God is there for me

He is my friend,not you

So I just pray your dreams/goals come true

And you realize what things could of been

Can’t be friends

I give my amends

I gave you my time which is a gift

You stringing me along because you don’t want it to end miss

Be honest how many good friends have you lost in the past?

Because I would of been one who could last

But you don’t get it, better yet understand

I’m not your average man

And I don’t care about what you think of me anymore

My patience is closed like a door

I been treating you so right and you treat me so wrong

I did all I can, now turning off my phone

And that’s all I am, a phone and online buddy

Someone you can chat with when times are cruddy

I’m living in the what if world of hopes and dreams

Don’t call me or text,not being mean

Just live your life

And I pray God makes you happy even if for one night
