This poem is about losing your identity for awhile, to escape. based on the tale of Agatha Christie’s adventure away from herself to payback her first husband.

enrolled the public, retired from sight
producing a new identity
an unalloyed character
carriage ride through robust countryside
refutiated desecration of numerous savannas
sightseeing with enthusiasm the wild animals
so aware some are of fear and anxiety
compensating for their lack of human vocabulary with honor
a misnomer to underestimate the wild, cannot be charmed by charisma
fortunate to escape to the outdoors, converse with this nature
however, must travel onward to familiar grounds
research ingrained inclination, redeem identity
trite diversions no peer to intricate selection
intoxicating to choose your own adventure now and again
daily grind stale and sober
so is the life of a littérateur
