The sunshine it makes many so happy

It can’t help but brighten up your whole day

Lifting up your spirit whilst making you smile

Hugging you gently with its warm inviting rays

People are out and about they too, want to feel

Feel the simmering sunshine caress their cold skin

The children play whilst the grownups they laugh

Everybody at some point will lick an ice cream

We will gradually fill up in all the beer gardens

With not even single frown for the curious eye see

All of the girls modelling out many pretty dresses

Whilst all the boys who come out just for the tease

With many shiny cars blasting the music of summer

We continue making the most of the fun we’re having

Because before we know it it’ll start coming to an end

When the heat begins to cool and the sun starts to go in

if you see it and feel it you should remember to enjoy it

Learn to sit back and enjoy it as much as you possibly can

Coz believe me one minute it will be their all shining

But sadly the next minute it might simply be gone
