By Bryan Wegman.

You look so innocent as you sleep like a baby on my shoulder
We travel great distances as you drift far, far away
Time traveling to a sunrise, and clear blue skies
Cutting ties with where I belong
To find a new place I can call home

Your hair falls over your face and I brush it to the side
I stare out the window at how tiny the world looks, from way up in the sky
Clusters of bright lights, and tiny buildings built up real high
Chaotically running around, it all looks so silly
Little ant hills, and little ants all go running by

The plane drops suddenly bringing you to a startled awakening
We fall faster bouncing out of control, sitting still looking straight ahead
Seat belts fastened awaiting are orders
No control, no influence in the outcome of your life
Everything is in the hands of one man

The planes falling faster and all I can think of is how I want to update my Facebook status
Dear friends and family who read this
Do not cry, do not be upset, celebrate for me the hapiness in the life I lived
I loved every moment I was given and I die regretting nothing
I always knew I was lucky. How many can say they died like this
