This is about Tim Burtons version of Alice in Wonderland coming out in the upcoming year. I love Tim Burton and I honestly don’t doubt he will live up to his reputation. I simply cannot believe how hard the world is turning little kids. I believe kids should be left with imagination and bright colors instead of taking silly folly and turning it into a deeper meaning.
Alice was an innocent child
Hair of gold and eyes so mild
Mr. Carroll’s loving words
Turned you to a world absurd
You were curious and naive
and wore your heart upon your sleeve
you followed a rabbit who claimed to be late
to a wonderland that was ever so great

Those were the days when you were created
now your story has been trampled and traded
It is now a dark and gloomy tale
told by a man known all too well
in a way similar to contemporary times
this new take on a few innocent rhymes
has been turned into a very gloomy story
to which childrens smile will refuse to flourish
