A monosyllabic poem for my poetry class taken from a poem I wrote called Complexity of Sophistication.

Suck Pluck

Pop Cups

Reach and

Feel

It Moves

Swims climbs

Dives and

Wiggles

Ink blots

Float turning

Waters black

Eight arms

Writhing

Scary as

A space

Invader

Snatching

My body

Waking

By a pod;

Dreaming

I was

Trapped

In its vines,

Skin rinds

Peeled

And fell

As I

Became

A sea

Creature

Was so

Relieved

To find

It was

Just a

Sheet

That had

Me

Entangled

Sorry about the above comment. It is on the wrong post.

I really enjoyed the read. It sounds like a nightmare.

So different, I enjoyed it. Love the use of words which gave it a fast pace – just like when you awaken from a bad dream – that same fast movement. You captured it in your poem.

    Nice one.
