Poem about the beautiful changing of the seasons and colors, the beauty and wonders that is found in the trees…

Here I stand a woman, daughter of the land,

here I want to be, with the birds in the trees…

To feel the green grass, tickling my toes,

of simple things I ask, that all my life knows…

To listen to the trees, whispering in the breeze,

watch the leaves scatter, hear their little chatter…

The tree tops in the sky, wave as I walk by,

little branches bend back, and give me a little smack…

See the seasons come, view the changing of the guard,

different colors in the sun, all in my back yard…

When the sun sleeps, the trees sing beneath the moon,

every little beeps, creates a beautiful tune…

This is my little heaven, a treasure to my eyes,

this place I’ll never be leavin, my home my paradise…

Now you know why I’m smiling, happy to be sharing,

what our creator gave for me, he gave it all for free……….end

Lovely poem. Nature is the greatest gift to us. I love the changing of seasons – the balmy nights of summer, the colors and crunchy sounds of fall, the crisp air and snow in winter, and the happy bees and flower scents of spring.
