Poem.

I walked these hallow halls with echoes of loneliness shouting back at me

And all I saw was you not there. 

Your memory tearing apart my sodden soul

And all I saw was you not there.

Desperation nightmarishly coddling my once stout heart

And all I saw was you not there. 

Screaming a single word to convince you to return 

But all I saw was you not there. 

Alone and scared. 

All I saw was you not there.
