An Army wife’s Christmas letter to her soldier who won’t be home for Christmas.

All I want for Christmas is You
Our souls are so close but we’re so far apart, yet it still does not change what I feel in my heart.
This is so hard for me – not being able to talk to you every day, there is so much on my mind, so much I want to say.
This is so hard for me – not being able to touch you every day, and not being able to kiss you and caress you in every way.
The magic of Christmas is filling the air, but I can’t get excited with out having you near.
I’m getting some packages together to send you holiday cheer, I hope it helps with the loneliness and the nights filled with fear.
There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t think of you, the smiles you give and the funny things that you do.
Day and night I worry – I hope that you’re alright, and I want to hold you the most when I’m lying in bed at night.
The babies are doing fine and I know they miss you too, not because they can talk yet, but it’s in the things that they do.
They point to your picture and say “Daddy” – Its true, and when they wake-up crying sometimes mommy just wont do.
I believe in God and the power of prayer, soon you’ll be here filling the lives of both mine and theirs.
So I live my life everyday by doing by you, and by doing the things that you would like too.
Be safe everyday – do your job the best you can, regardless of the conflicts in the place of which you stand.
I know I can’t have my wish I know it won’t come true, but all I really want for Christmas this year, is you.
