It doesnt matter what road I take or even how long the road is.It could be a straight road or a twisted road as well. The very same road that Dorothy and Toto took to find the wizard of Oz to go back to Kanses. The only thing they have in common is they all lead back to you.Just writing what I call fluff poetry while editing a more serious poem/story.

It doesn’t matter what road I chose to take,

from the longest to the shortest its the same.

They could even twist and turn like a pretzel,

because all the roads I take  lead back to you.

****

I can take a leisure walk down a country road,

walk mile after mile of a narrow unpaved dirt road.

When I reach the end of this uncharted territory,

you are waiting for me with a  cold glass of water.

****

I could pay an unexpected visit to your big city,

walk one end of Wisconsin Avenue to the other.

But I will bet you anything that you will find me,

your extra sharp intuition has a road all its own.

****

I could charter a late flight to see New York City,

see a huge famous city and its many many lights.

Re-board the big plane and find you waiting for me,

all you will ask of me is did you have a nice time?

*****

Take an imaginary trip to the magical land of Oz,

walk the same golden path as Dorothy and Toto did.

But you could be the legendary wizard of the city,

telling me that we took our sweet time getting there.

****

Or I can even take the many roads that are in my mind,

mile after mile of roads that has been traveled by us.

We both may take different roads to test out my theory,

but my road and yours will always meet up every time.

****

Where ever I go and do in my life  you are always with me,

my still beating heart has recorded every memory we did.

While my heart beats and still holds a very deep love for you,

all the roads I have and will travel will always lead back to you.

This poem expresses real emotion and that certain things in life
will expose us. You made your point beautifully and well done.
