The last Wednesday (10th september) was a thrilling day for the people all over the world because of the widely publicized Big Bang experiment at CERN. By God’s grace and scientist’s unquestionable skills every thing went off well.
Perhaps, it might have disappointed some who termed it as Doom’s Day and the world will end. As a token of my respect and appreciation to all the scientists at work on LHC research project at CERN I wrote this poetry. I will be glad if one of them reads my poetry on Triond or Triond sends it to them.

Now a day, the word Big Bang
Spread among people so strong
More than a popular song
To what ever section they belong

World over, the LHC test at C E R N
Has become a matter of concern
Some say it is perversion
Other feel it a subversion

For some, the man is crossing his limitation
To know the secrets of God’s creation
Out of his unending temptation
Running towards self destruction, is a big question

The Large Hadron Collider, the CERN’s science cathedral
Is the most powerful particle accelerator,
Stretching27 Km circularly under the land
Between France and Switzerland

In the LHC, Hadrons, one of the atom’s particles
Propelled by giant magnets around the tunnel
Travel at a speed of light
To the scientist’s delight

Traveling in the opposite direction
Hadrons result in collision
Generating heat of destruction for construction
A hundred thousand times more than the Sun’s radiation

The entire reaction is momentous
Happens in an area so inconspicuous
Billion times smaller than a speck of dust
Hence there is no danger, one should trust

As in the Big Bang Theory, billions of years ago
What happened in a trillionth of a second or so
When the Universe was created by explosion
The scientists at CERN wish to recreate the same situation

The first discovery they hope to make
The God’s own particle for every body’s sake
And the Dark Matter, if found
A great mystery is going to unfold

The Holy Grail of Science
From the eminent scientist’s brains
Sounds like alchemy to some, they say
That the LHC may show the way

Man’s thirst for knowledge knows no boundaries
In future he may fly to and fro to the Galaxies
He may unfold all the mysteries of the Universe
But, ultimately he should be able to discover the God within himself

Wishing every success for the LHC research project at CERN

I hope this extends support to all the scientists and their knowledge and wisdom.
