Thoughts on the ever elusive “Happiness”.

Happiness is like an approaching stranger in the dark;
At first, you don’t know it’s there……
The closer it gets, the more aware you become.
There’s a slight fear of the unknown, a feeling of angst.
Then, as fast as it becomes perceptible…when it feels you’ve detected it,
It passes you by and vanishes back into the darkness.

    I like the poem very much even if I do not agree with the content.
    See, I think happiness is a way to interpretate realities.
    It is like a way to think, and to go through life, searching for the lessons we have to learn and seeking for the good side of everything we approach and confront in our life time.
    But the poem is very good, I myself felt that way lots of times, thank you for shatring.
