It can ache to be alone, humans seek companionship.
It broke my heart to be alone
nobody checking if I am safe at home
Left abandoned to wonder and roam
Nobody to visit or telephone
Freedom was just another word
I would rather have restrictions than hurt
The first heartbreak is always the worst
But you grow from it and learn
