We are all alone at sometime in life.

Trying to find our place, trying to find the light

Searching for who we are, never getting it right

Standing in a crowd surrounded yet alone

Feeling like a fool sitting at the foot of life’s throne

We all have gifts, some talent that sets us apart

A driving desire that rests within our heart

If this is true then why do so many seem to be lost

Searching for a place to fit, loneliness the ultimate cost

Seeming to loss before success even has chance

Standing in a crowded room, not even a passing glance

Circling one other a real connection never being made

At the end of life alone in death we will be laid.

This poem covers a huge topic, the one of being or feeling alone, and at the beginning, the poem assumes this is the case for all sooner or later, but why. Well, it will require many pages or writing to explain this. Your subject is made for a book for countless are the reasons for which on may feel or find himself or herself alone.

Good piece of poetry with much to say about the matter.

By the way, check me out on the site. Will you, please!

    Well put, Johnnie!

We all have times that we feel alone, even in a crowd. And we are all searching for something – sometimes its hard to figure out what.
