A poem detailing the wonderful creative madness of a person all alone.

Hushed whispers
The darkness calls
Softly and seductively

I feel my mind exploring
And I feel the pull
Of the darkness here

A wrenching thought,
A sensuous song
The Siren’s musings

The Muses shuffling
At the edges of my vision
Beckoning to me slowly

And I wish for this to end
This sadness encompassing
I want to feel your warmth

I want to be held
To be consoled
To be loved

But this darkness
Allows such love naught
And I whither away

Alone.
