Thee alter I see.
There I bend to one knee.
Darker days,
Filled with guilt and shame.
Broken heart,
Seeking my fresh new start.
I ask God as I pray,
To open my heart to him,
And to show me brighter days.
So there at thee alter,
I leave the old me.
My new beginning Is what I see.
And I now know,
It’s God you placed his love In me.
So I walk in his true glory,
As Jesus tells me the real story.
