This is a poem I wrote once upon a time.

– To write a good poem i would defently put on some good music. For eg. if i wanted to do a emotional one like this i would put of Viva la vida by cold play–

They say the battlefields of war is Hell,

As the guns rattle, bombs explode, the cries of anguish.

As the wagon, full of my comrades,

Most of whom have seen their last day,

Taken their last breath.

So many memories.

The tears, the suffering, cry out in my head.

Like the Devil’s banshee, that will never rest.

Never be silenced.

Yes, Hell is not something underground.

It’s here plaguing the hearts of man.

As I write my comrades,

Friends, are being thrown around,

With no mercy, no remorse… no rest.

It’s getting dark,

I think I saw something,

It’s becoming a nightmare

I’ve seen them, the enemies.

It’s a trap, an ambush.

What heartless men could attack us?

The wounded, the scared.

As searing pain strikes me like thunder.

As i take my last breath.

I realised.

We had no faith, no prayers.

I realised.

God could not be a part of this.

I realised.

Wars are pointless, faith is useless.

But then again,

I thought I saw, Heaven, an angel, God.
