The light of the world must serve a purpose. A purpose that is greater than what the human eye can see. Society and it’s damaging affects has dimmed these lights. It has set limits and boundaries that do not allow these lights to nurture their gifts. Many never recover. This life is not a rehearsal. It is our grand performance. We should embrace it with it’s fullest capacity for love and passion. We should sail through it at full freedom.

Woven into my composition

Were the strings of endowment

To soar above mediocrity

To dream beyond the constellations

Yet, I strain.

The vain entity within deprived of its natural state

Has found a greater strength

Beckoned by the voice of ethos

Quickened by its call

Alas, I fear no man

I fear nothing at all

This vessel has deflected from it’s base

It’s journey I must embrace

It’s intentions are undisclosed

Marked for a course “UNKNOWN”

Liberty has taken charge

Blinded by a path unforeseen

I set the sails to dream

For I am not the master of this haul

Its navigator

Is the ambassador of my soul

Thanks I enjoyed you poem – not so easy for the vain entity to let go

No, not unless the tides forced it loose. In this case this entity was left adrift at sea. Thanks for your comment. :0)
