If I could swim where dolphins swim, and lie where dolphins lie,
We’d share a great affinity, those dolphin folk and I.
To glide amongst the waters deep with dolphins by my side,
To feel their thoughts and read their minds, as they go with the tide.
A mystic, tranquil world they have, where strife and troubles cease,
Great minds they have and gentle souls, and all they want is peace.
While wars and hate are ravaging the human world above
The dolphins swim below us with their legacy of love
Gentle, noble creatures who have never harmed a man,
They have so much to tell us if we’d only understand.
If I could swim where dolphins swim, and go where dolphins go
Then perhaps I’d find an inner peace – that I have yet to know.
