In a time where hours just slip past at speed,
Why do so many stay the same, in pace and in need
I used to be child like within my actions,
But as I have grown, so have all my re-actions
Yet the people surrounding me remain so stubborn
Refusing responsilbilty , just going through each motion
So many I know that have ruined lives,
Of innocent curiosity of living the other side
The power they have is that they are already dead,
They do not care of others emotions or the lies they are fed
I cannot comprehend this behaviour anymore,
Of putting others through the pain and anger they store
They scar these people who have so far been sheltered,
From the nightmares that they have already suffered
I wish I had known so time ago what I have learnt now,
But like so many, I now carry a damaged soul, usually on show
No control over feelings, erupt at a word, explode aover an action,
No reason or respect, just pure anger spread from me, but it’s a fraction
Of how I feel, who I resent, who I blame, myself mainly,
Is it me, do I breed hate, do I release the devil from each, it’s plainly
Obvious to others, that’s why people walked by, crossed the road,
As my face hits the kerb, a foot to my back, I try not to goad
I shut down, leave my body, soon it will be over, just need to sleep,
My throat is closing, my family in view, my breath I must keep
Why do people cause such hurt to those they are meant to love,
Why do people cry when they see the heap of the person they chose to shove
Surely not guilt, as these animals feel nothing I am sure,
Fake tears, with fake living, with fake emotions unpure
I wish I could escape, not let these events effect my future,
To care for someone and trust this will not happen again is so unsure
And something that I cannot seem to cure
