An Astonishing Sight

Lights in the night sky.

I saw the most astonishing sight.

It appeared last night in the sky.

A strange noise filled the silence,

lights were flashing way up high.

Have aliens come to visit us?

Did I see my very first UFO?

Now the lights have disappeared.

I wish they did not have to go.

Maybe I will see the lights again,

when I’m out stargazing tonight.

Those lights I will never forget,

for they were an astonishing sight.

Wow! what an incredible photograph and the poem really comes across well. i know this feeling. when you see the lights, you are transfixed and just waiting to see what’s going to happen. really incredible. perhaps the aliens are watching over us time to time. i really liked this. Brilliant!
