An Everlasting dream

I’ve been patient,

I’ve been waiting for so long,

I think my many prayers may have been answered

All the tears I have cried have all gathered and made an ocean

An ocean in which I am floating, swimming in.

I’m in a dream like state

Meeting you was a dream

I feel as though I am in an everlasting dream right now

Please just for a few more days and weeks leave me peaceful

Let me soak this all in

This feeling of inner happiness

Feelings of belonging

Feelings of being wanted and needed

This feeling leaves me feeling as though I can move mountains

It’s amazing to feel this way

I can’t wait until I can call you mine
