…let’s drink.

Make me a drink my friend and don’t pretend to care about sorrows.

Make me a drink my friend and spare the talk of new tomorrows.

Let’s have a drink and laugh a while, I’ll hide my frown and you can hide your smile.

Please turn up the radio and we’ll listen to that song we sang so long ago.

You don’t have to leave unless you want to, please stay here with me I think you should.

We can sing and talk and drink till we feel good

You can drink the scotch, I’ll drink the rum.

If you want beer I think there is some.

I feel so bad I can’t complain, sometimes I wonder if I’m sane.

How have you been doing for yourself ?

Please pass me that bottle from the shelf.

Oh my friend it’s a been while and it feels so good to see you smile.

Why do you still want to be my friend after I have been so vial ?
