What do your trials do for you? Do you sink beneath them, or do they sink beneath the greatness of your God?
“Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.” Matthew 14:29b
Is Your Trial Overwhelming? Do impossibilities loom?
Is your trial overwhelming, and pain your mind consumes?
You can focus on your fear, or on God’s faithfulness to you.
You can focus on your fear, or HIS faith to get you through!
Is your trial overwhelming? Now consider grief or grace!
God will guide you through your trial, as you look upon His Face.
If you look upon your trials, neath the waves you start to sink,
But God can give new grace as we upon His mercies think!
Yea, dwell upon the troubles, and you’ll sink beneath the waves,
But with eyes upon the Saviour, a glorious path will pave!
Yes, your trials will seem as nothing, as they’re viewed through Jesus’ eyes,
But much rather will seem golden, as they lead to Heaven’s Prize!
