An Ultimate Deal is when a person makes a pact with Lucifer for worldly power and knowledge. By bartering his soul for the things of his demonic world he pays the greatest price – the lost of his soul.

Everyone is familiar with the TV show

Deal or No Deal

It’s when a person has to decide

On a final monetary offer

- – -

As for an Ultimate Deal

A person is prepared to barter

His soul for power and knowledge

He makes a pact with Lucifer -

Ruler of all things demonic

In this world

- – -

The world views this person as smart

Flashy, glamorous and enticing

With all the goods and comforts

That money can buy

He owns estates worth tens

Of millions or even billions

On islands, many consider paradise

- – -

Traversing the world

In private jets

Eating at the best restaurants

Wearing the finest clothes

He’s able to captivate audiences

Is sought after by kings and queens

And heads of states

- – -

He’s glib, intelligent

And glows in the public eye

For he’s always called on for advice

And counsel

- – -

He speaks several languages

Plays many instruments

And has been a recipient

Of a first class education

At some of our best universities

He’s a true Renaissance man

- – -

Little do people know

This individual has made

an Ultimate Pact

In order to attain

These extraordinary abilities

And fortune

- – -

He’s a present day

Doctor Faustus

That Christopher Marlowe

Described in his 1604 play

- – -

This person revoked

His baptismal vow

That would have been

His ticket into heaven

- – -

Once poor

He took unto himself

What the world offered

To rise to the top

- – -

He envied others

And committed

The Seven Deadly Sins

Without thinking

About the consequences

- – -

His wish came through

By exercising free will

Knowing fully well that he would

Be taken straight to Lucifer’s

Demonic world at an allotted time

- – -

It’s a typical battle

Between good and evil

And in this case evil won the day

As this social climber departed the world

Kicking and screaming

- – -

Doctor Faustus which is a basic take

On this present day account

Became popular in the 1700s

Was made into a movie

In 2009, it was staged

At Greenwich Theater in London

We see these deals here alot in my country! There are men who become rich overnight under circumstances no human mind can explain! But while they grow richer and richer, misfortunes keep knocking at their doors-am told the deals for wealth and power through pacts with the devil are never cheap-they come with costly experiences. Great share here again Prof!

It is really fantastic piece of writing. It is more advice than the poem or a written piece. Lucifer is what always be cursed.
