Relationships between government versus people and people versus people. A lot of unhappiness and taking advantage of each other in our world today.

Is it blood that people want?

To get what they can

and leave you gaunt?

Everything is drained from unsuspecting scores.

No slowing down for the pits and cores.

What’s next in this world of confusion?

Lie after lie with senseless delusion?

Wishful thinking in the eyes of destruction,

promises nothing in the way of reduction.

Happiness has become a thing of the past,

spreading quickly throughout the masses

and becoming very vast.

Do we fight this ominous sentence,

or accept this widespread penance?

Wow DB…don’t recall ever reading such a powerful political statement from you before…pretty incredible…it is a side of you that I have seldom, if ever, seen and I voted that I like what I see…Promises, promises that is all I ever get…would be nice if people would follow up with the things they say…like Merle Haggard says in Rainbow Stew…”If a president walked through the White House door and does what he says he’ll do…”anyway you have asked a question that has plagued the masses for years – DO WE FIGHT OR ACCEPT?
