A poem about loving God and being repentant. Loving God so much that all I want to do is follow Him, seek His will and be found faithful.
When I think of Christ, your only son
and all the things that you have done
the beautiful wonders your hands did make
and Christ’s death on the cross for my sake
I realize how unworthy I am
But still to me, you sent your Lamb
And I repent
My eyes were blind, but now I see
My soul was lost, but You set me free
I was headed in the direction of hell
but You turned me around when I fell
You faced me toward Your Holy light
Thank you God for giving me sight
And I repent
Dear Lord, I humbly bow to you
I desire to live as You want me to
In the darkness of the night
I will pray for strength and might
To greet You with each new day
and wanting to do things Your way
And I repent
Lord, you listen to my every word
And you only will I serve
I was lost but in You I’ve been found
for You have turned my life around
You helped rid me of all my bad stuff
and Lord, I cannot thank You enough
And I repent
