A POEM ABOUT COLD WINTER DAYS THAWING INTO THE BEAUTIFUL TAPESTRY OF SPRING TIME.

Winter’s chill covered the land

Creating a frozen tundra of white

Blankets of snow embracing the hibernating earth

And then spring came in glorious splendor

Warm rays melted the ice-covered ground

Gentle rains brought forth new life to the world

Green grass, budding trees and blooming flowers

Birds sang their melodious song

Frogs and crickets joined in the harmony

With butterflies and buzzing bees

The sun caressing my face

This is the way spring came
