Summer time and the living’s easy.
That warmth hits my pale flesh, I breathe in that air so fresh. Feelings of ecstasy pop up again, Ahh where have you been my friend? More colors than white and black finally, It’s time to show the real me. Take a hit of that needed herb, Doing it all; completing every verb. I’m trying to capture that feeling, Of being higher than the ceiling. Jumping out of that cliff door, That free falling freedom once more. The sun helping to melt my brain, Up all night as if on cocaine. Feet falling in love with that sand, Chilling as that ocean will expand. Not listening to one command, Becoming a bronze goddess, all tanned. Summer is the festival time, OAR, Dispatch, and Sublime. Relaxing with blunt after blunt, Endless smiling appears upfront. The sun soon disappears, Time to bring out those beers. Can’t help but getting silly, My joy growing like a lily. Starting to feel out of control, Yes, let the good times roll. Now, I would keep on writing this text, But I simply never remember what comes next.
