In general, certain festivals are celebrated all over the world, but the poor are unable to take part in them on account of extreme poverty, unemployment, and fear of terrorist attacks.

Lakhs of people are found on the streets begging;

Thousands of people are seen moving from pillar to post

                                                         seeking employment,

And we say Deepavali is celebrated all over India!

Millions of people move about in villages wearing

                                                        tattered clothes,

Some even baring their bodies to hot sun and chilly weather;

Thousands of people die of malnutrition and diseases

                                                                       every day,

And we say Ramzan is celebrated all over the world!

Crores of people continually live in fear of terrorism

                                                                      and war

And lakhs of people are living in slums,

Unused cement concrete pipes lying by the roadside,

                                                        and on pavements,

And we say Christmas is celebrated all over the globe!

    That was touching as well as sad to know it isn’t Christmas for all because poverty is real so how do they look forward to another day of struggle with excitement.
