[A WAPcreated poem, mental composition commencing on the rock under the tree in Boscobel, St. Mary, Jamaica. August 5, 2008]
in the highlands
of auld Scotland
some 4,000
years ago
an angel fell
named Phar-i-el
tradition tells
and tales know.
And so from then
down from heaven
home, the fallen
seeks to go,
seeks salvation
and redemption
in anglican
orders old.

Phar-i-el
separated one,
MacPherson
the sons of his son,
Phar-sin the parson,
half-angel, half-man,
far from auld Scotland
presbyterian,
now Church of England
broadchurch anglican;
sits on a rock,
under a tree
in boscobel
in Jamaica
in St. Mary:
the angel, fell,
auld lang fallen
up now risen,
rising again.
Amen.
Amen.
