Seasonal Poetry, winter season.

It’s a snowy winter day,

the clouds above are gray,

and children out to play.

Snow angels all around,

covering the ground.

I’m just sitting here watching the wind blow,

breathing in the beauty of the snow.

Ice formed on the naked branches of the big oaks.

A child came up to me with a red snow kissed nose.

Let’s make a snow angel now.

Come with me and just lay down.

Spread your arms like an eagle flys

  • Move your legs from side to side.
  • Get up very carefully.

Turn around and what you see.

    A snow angel glistening.
