Experiencing God’s Grace.

With anguished heart, I look to the skies,
and wonder if He hears my cries.
Oh, angels why pour out such grief,
instead of bringing some relief.
With trembling knees fall to the ground,
and there upon the hard earth I expound,
upon my misery.
Where are the words when I emplore,
knocking on thy heavenly door.
The answer that I listen for,
seemed to come, and then no more.
I rise again and it seems so clear,
for all that I hold dear,
He’s given me,
and what I’ve lost restore.

A very moving prayer, and it’s something we all can relate to. Very good. It has a nice flow to it also.

    Who do we pray to?
    Answer this will few.!
Has a prayer been ever answered?
    If so, I am blinkered.
    Enlighten me if you will
    I hold my breath still.

Written with the love of God. He never gives up on us, only us on Him. I’m glad you were inspired to write this.

Every prayer created by us are gods voice transmitted to words.

A very great idea. Sometimes we are looking so hard for something else that we miss what he has given us.

    Nadir
I am so glad you asked. Yes, God answers prayers.
As Innocent children look to their earthly fathers to answer their questions about life as they grow, we also ask our heavenly father to help us as we grow in faith. Just as with small children, if we ask for something that will put us in danger he does not grant these things, no more than an earthly father would give something to his child that would hurt him. Sometimes we do not see the danger. But God is faithful and true to his children, even to the granting of the desires of their hearts. If we believe in him to provide, he always meets our basic needs. If we love him he provides even the little unimportant things that bring us comfort. Example; I had been looking for a certain color of yarn that I had started a crochet piece with some years ago, though I had run out of the yarn before I was finished with the piece I could not bring myself to through it away. I looked in all the shops that I normally go to and could not find the yarn.Weary of it I just said in my mind that day, Lord what am I going to do? I went to bed that nitght with the crochet piece still on my mind. The next morning my aunt called and ask if I would wander around some thrift shops with her, and glad to enjoy the day I went. In the very first thrift shop, on the second table lay the yarn I was looking for, at one third the price I would have had to pay at the yarn shop. Like I said even to the desires of the heart. I am truely a blessed woman, and child of God. So when I have a need I go to God first and he will make a way, where there seems to be no way.
    Thank you for asking.
