I look up at your eyes absorbing their soft pinkness.

Your thumb, gradually glide across my lips,
As a bird soars on thermal air.
I look up at your eyes absorbing their soft pinkness,
Like a lion upon his prey.
Your mouth watering for their sweetness,
Resembling a diabetic eying pastries,
As you lean in, press your lips to mine
Like a puzzle piece fitting just fine.
You commit the ultimate crime
Like a vulture circling for his meal.

I love the beautiful construction of this poem, I think it’s absolutely magical. I like the way you compare a kiss as being very animalistic. Good thought processing!
