Chan’s information is useful
Chan’s articles are detailed

I don’t know Chan Lee Pang but I would suggest we treat Chan like a Triond member and give Chan all the support Chan needs. That is what the Triond community is all about.

  • Moses Ingram on Dec 8, 2008

We must all work together to help each other.

  • Eric Mendoza on Dec 8, 2008

What a noble way to show your appreciation for one of our fellow Triond users. I’m sure Chan will read this at some point, and I can only hope that your words give Chan a reason to remain a Triond community member, and keep on blessing us with his articles that obviously would be missed if he stopped posting.

  • Darla Smith on Dec 8, 2008

I agree that we should all give Chan Lee Pang our support.

  • Will Gray on Dec 8, 2008

I am not sure, except for trying to contact the person to find out what is going on.

  • Lauren axelrod on Dec 8, 2008

The whole idea behind this, and please forgive me for saying this but, when someone rips off your work you do have the right to be nasty. Trust me, being to nice to these thieves doesn’t get anything accomplished. I threatened lawsuits and fines and two of Chans pieces were removed from sites. I’m telling you, you need to be proactive. Have a voice!

Great piece and sorry for the rant. Pot Stirrer heard!

I understand Chan getting upset, as I am right now. I also am having my own issues with Triond right now if you haven’t noticed I haven’t been around much. I miss you all my friends, but the folks behind this site seem to be not what I thought they were. You can find me on Xomba and Bukisa at http://www.bukisa.com/join/1363
I wish Chan and everyone the best and Ill try to keep writing here once I get over my anger.

I don’t know Chan, but what is going on?

  • rileyd on Dec 8, 2008

    What happened?

  • clay hurtubise on Dec 8, 2008

    Well, I’ll visit his site!
    Thanks,
    Clay

I always enjoy Chan’s work. I will pray that he is able to move forward and those bastards stop stealing his works. I will keep a look out for those articles and report it.

  • Judy Sheldon on Dec 8, 2008

Chan has had his work duplicated and posted under someone else’s name. Chan Lee Peng’s had various work declined for being similar but others have posted articles which were more similar to Chan’s. Chan is reeling in the wake of lack of support from Triond staff which Chan has grown to love and respect and now is puzzled by their recent behavior. Whatever the decision is that Chan makes, I will support. I believe the contributions made by Chan will be a true loss.

I have watched others that I have enjoyed the works of leave. I have highly recommended Triond to family and friends. At this point I too am puzzled.

    Chan’s honorary sister.

Wow! I guess I’ve been out of the loop! I’m off to visit Chan’s profile now and wish him the best of luck! Thanks for the info!

  • BC Doan on Dec 8, 2008

This is great that you are calling for community support, and I am glad to see so many people here commenting!

Chan’s works have always impressed me and a great contribution to this site. I’ll support whatever Chan decides to do…

  • Bozsi Rose on Dec 8, 2008

I had no idea all that was going on…poor Chan.

  • Inna Tysoe on Dec 8, 2008

    Thanks for rallying the community!

This truly saddens me – CHAN LEE PENG is not only an exceptionally gifted and prolific writer, he is a kind hearted angel. I know that the internet world can be precarious. I have a blog and people can copy my work as well from there. It is my sincere hope that CHAN does not leave this site.

Thank you for writing this beautiful poem.

    Blessings.

    Sincerely,

    -Liane Schmidt.

Good question, but I don’t not have the answer, I read Chan’s articles all the time, so I hope that helps.
    DON’T LEAVE CHAN!!!
    maybe that will also?

  • eddiego65 on Dec 9, 2008

I like reading his articles! I hope he continues to write.

  • Blue Buttefly on Dec 9, 2008

As if one finger is to be cut off, the whole body will feel the pain. I still hope he will continue to published.

  • quiet voice on Dec 9, 2008

…Very strong poem, for a friend. I don’t know him, but he writes well. BC’s article about the posting of works by others, without by-lines was very distrubing. Here’s hoping this gets worked out fairly.

  • Launie and Melynda Sorrels on Dec 10, 2008

We are with you on this Roberta!!!

  • Loafer on Dec 11, 2008

Why not ask him the real score? I’m not very active on triond but still I got some pieces declined for reasons I don’t subscribe to (like articles already submitted–I swear they’re my original works!).–Lorenzo

  • Jeoffrey Meister on Dec 13, 2008

I am new with Triond and I want to be treated the way you suggest (in your writing) treating Chan. I thank you for your concern for him and obviously everyone, Roberta.

  • Glynis Smy on Dec 16, 2008

I sometimes wonder who looks at the work on behalf of the editor, when it is submitted,I am sure they cannot read the work correctly, ie: I stated in the description that the poem I submitted was from my first book and it was declined as it was copyrighted work, I was told I needed permission from the author to publish! The editor corrected the error and published. Chan is a name that stands out at Triond and attracts the eye of the visitor on the Hot List,he supports Triond and deserves support.
A nice way to show your support! :)

I don’t know Chan yet but i will be sure to look at his work now, such a shame to have this happen to him or anybody for that matter!
