Ever wonder what she’s hiding?
She’s beautiful, but she wouldn’t believe you if you told her
She’s breaking down a little bit everyday,
But she’d never show you that side of her.
She lives in her own little world,
Where everyone is in love but nobody’s good enough
And she’s dying to get out
She’s sick of all her inadequacies,
So she hides her every invented flaw
She doesn’t believe your lies
But she can’t decipher the truth
She’ll do anything to be your everything
But she doesn’t have to
She stares herself down every morning
She makes a new promise every night
She wears every mistake on her wrist,
And her forehead bears every cliche.
She doesn’t feel good enough.
She’ll never feel good enough.
They all swear that she’s good enough.
But she isn’t “good enough.”
