This is the second installment to the “Everlasting..” poem.
Newly entitled “Shifting Season”.
“…Summer turns to autumn and winter turns to spring.”
I hope you all enjoy. Thank you for reading.

‘Shifting Seasons’

A dark thunderous night with full bloomed clouds,

My words poured they showered down,

Untamed, rain tailed and failed to connect

Due to a simple wipe of her caring cheek,

Probably because my bird sung summer sweet songs of the truth,

It sounded so familiar,

Similar to those of mine on her roof,

But only now the weather

was different.

Knowingly stuck in two different seasons,

Forced to start seizing my feelings.

The wicked wild wind blowing is now easing with no reason,

To stop the drops from melting ice of hopes,

Once frozen, through which we both believed in?

Shifting seasons.

So as summer turns to autumn,

And winter turns to spring,

Your leaves will start falling,

While mine are forming.
