About New Zealand ICONS and made specially into a picture print(not shown) for my Granddaughter to take to Japan as a gift for her host family. This poem featured Rangitoto Island, pohutukawa trees, flax and cabbage trees.
Mighty Pohutukawa, brilliant red,
Stately Flax and Cabbage tree.
Golden sands by oceans deep.
Magestic Island Rangitoto sleeps
across the sparkling Sea.
The Creator’s left no beauty spared
“The Long White Cloud” they call this Land
Aotearoa……..New Z e a l a n d.
