This is a poem about someone who I was so mean to. I had no way to apologize and just kept being mean.

Apologizing to you,

this was something I

could not do.

No matter what I put

you through,

the bad thoughts were

all focused on you.

I thought of you like

a jerk,

a person that does

not know how to work.

Then I saw you cry,

then something stirred inside.

The shell around my heart

cracked in half.

Seeing you as brittle as

a new born calf.

I am sorry for what I did,

of what I say is now rid.
